A kinky chiropractor and his even kinkier wife have been arrested for having sex with a 17-year-old girl during a camping trip after plying her with alcohol, weed and psychedelic mushrooms.
Douglas Gilbert, 60, and Kimberly Korba, 41, operate a chiropractic office in Oak Creek to treat patients for “emotional clearing.”
Police said the teen victim – whose mother was a patient of Gilbert’s and referred her for treatment of emotional issues — visited the couple’s home and was given psychedelic mushrooms mixed into teas as part of a therapy session.
The teen receive additional treatment for her “sexual energy,” the trio eventually took a camping trip in a remote location in Yavapai County.
Gilbert suggested that he, his wife and the girl could have a threesome during the camping trip, an advance that she refused. The teen then became frightened and started taking shots of alcohol, smoking a shit ton of weed and eating mushrooms like they were wild berry skittles provided by the couple, who then engaged her in various sex acts.
Korba “encouraged and participated” in the sex acts, the teen told investigators.
Both Gilbert and Korba were later arrested on charges of sexual conduct with a minor. Gilbert has been released on $125,000 bond, while Korba remained in custody as of Wednesday.
