912

Investigators have released surveillance images of suspects in separate attacks last week in the Central West End.

In the first attack, a 69-year-old man walking his dog was pushed to the ground by a man who had ridden by on his bike. He got off the bike, shoved the victim and struggled with him before fleeing. The assault was in the 4300 block of McPherson Avenue, near Boyle Avenue, at about 6:15 p.m. on May 2.

The victim suffered scrapes but no serious injuries. The motive in the attack wasn’t clear.

In the second attack, on Saturday, a group of teens or young men assaulted a 33-year-old deaf man near Lindell Boulevard and Euclid Avenue. They approached him about 9:30 p.m. and began hitting him.

The victim was struck in the head multiple times. He was taken to a hospital for treatment of cuts to his face.
