A 13-year-old boy stabbed his twin brother after an argument in St. Louis Monday evening, police told us and are still trying to figure out what was the argument was about.

Officers were called to the 1400 block of Peabody Court, in Clinton-Peabody housing complex south of downtown, about 7:30 p.m.  This housing complex has been a violent incident phenomenon.  Other crimes in the past year include another incident where one brother killed his 10year old brother and another man shot to death in front of the complex.  If anyone needs a place to live in St. Louis they do have rentals available at a modest price.

Back to the twins stabbing, investigators believe the boys were in an argument when one grabbed a knife and threatened to stab the other.

When his sibling attempted to disarm him, the boy stabbed his sibling in the back, police said. The injured boy was taken to a hospital and was stable.

His brother was taken into custody. The teen’s case will be handled by the juvenile courts.

Police say they are continuing to investigate the stabbing.
