A St. Louis County scumbag has been charged with murder and other crimes in a January shooting that left a man dead and a woman critically injured.
Zackary Ward, 26, was charged Tuesday with first-degree murder, first-degree assault and two counts of armed criminal action. He was ordered held without bail.
Ward fired the shots that killed Allen Young III and injured a woman with him on Jan. 31. They were shot while sitting in a vehicle in the 1200 block of Meyer Street in University City.
Police found Young and the woman with multiple gunshot wounds. They were taken to a hospital, where Young, 27, died.
The woman suffered serious internal injuries, including the loss of a kidney.
A witness or witnesses picked Ward as the shooter from photo and physical lineups, according to court filings. The shooting was in a residential area just north of Olive Boulevard and Heman Park.
Ward lives in the 6600 block of Champana Lane, near Lewis and Clark Boulevard and Parker Road. Ward was also arrested for domestic assault in September of 2016. He has a record of being a serious STL piece of shit.
