A piece of shit videotaped and photographed himself molesting two children at his South County home last year and kept a hard drive of the recordings and hundreds of images of child pornography, according to authorities.
Jonathan J. Askew, 49, was charged yesterday in St. Louis County Circuit Court with two counts of promoting child pornography, one count of possessing child pornography and four counts of statutory sodomy or attempted statutory sodomy, all felonies.
Investigators with search warrant were at Askew’s home in the 4800 block of Heidelberg Avenue and found about 1,100 images of child pornography on an external hard drive, according to a probable cause statement.
The hard drive included images Askew took of himself molesting two children, 4 and 6, in August.
Askew was being held at St. Louis County Jail with bail set at $200,000.
