A Pine Lawn man was charged Wednesday with fatally shooting a man Aug. 31 in St. Louis.
Andre K. Williams, 32, of the 6000 block of Grimshaw Avenue, was charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action in the shooting death of Eugene Roberts Jr.
Roberts, 34, was fatally shot about 9:30 p.m. in the 4500 block of Adelaide near West Florissant Avenue, police have told us. The police report reads that Roberts was killed with a “high-caliber weapon.”
A “secret witness” identified Williams as the shooter and reported seeing it happen, charges say.
Roberts lived in the 4700 block of Plover Avenue.
St. Louis Circuit Judge Michael Noble set Williams’ bail at $1 million cash-only.
