STL man charged with armed robberies of 3 stores in St. Louis

A St. Louis man was charged over the weekend with a handful of armed robberies last month in the city.

Lonzo J. Patrick, 53, of the 5400 block of Plover Avenue, was charged Saturday with three counts of first-degree robbery and three counts of armed criminal action.

The charges state that Patrick robbed at gunpoint the O’Reilly Auto Parts store at 1140 North Kingshighway on Oct. 21; a Phillips 66 station at 4251 Lindell Boulevard on Oct. 25; and a Walgreens pharmacy at 2933 South Kingshighway on Oct. 30.  A string of robberies that were close together.

Each time, Patrick took money from the cash registers. He was identified in photo lineups.

Bail for Patrick was set at $75,000 cash. His convictions date to 1983 and include theft, at least four burglaries and receiving stolen property.
