Police are asking for the public’s help finding the thieves who stole credit cards after smashing out the window of a car Thursday.

Town and Country police released surveillance photos Friday in connection with the theft.

At about 4:30 p.m. Thursday, a woman told police her car window was smashed at Gold’s Gym, 13867 Manchester Road, and her purse and several credit cards were gone. Less than an hour later, the cards were being fraudulently used at Target and Lowe’s stores in Kirkwood. Police say the stolen credit cards were used to buy about $1,000 worth of merchandise and gift cards, said Detective Chris Hunt.

The suspects — three men and one woman — were in a gray Hyundai SUV. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 314-587-2866.
