We are guessing that every robber needs to start somewhere, and robbing a Dollar General is most likely the highlight of this robber’s young life.  You got to have goals.

Robbery charges have been issued against an 18-year-old suspect in connection to robbery that took place at a Dollar General in Jennings.

Teryon Weeden was charged Thursday with one count of robbery and one count of armed criminal action.

The robbery occurred at a Dollar General in Jennings.

Around 5:15 p.m., the suspect first entered Dollar General where people usually shop for deals and have to fight with awkward smells depending on which aisle you are in. Weeden walked in most likely not helping with the smell situation and went to the front cash register. He then busted out his gun and demanded money from the cashier.

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and fled the scene on foot.

No injuries were sustained during the robbery.
