A St. Louis mother of the year candidate left her two daughters alone in her car at the Barnes-Jewish Hospital parking garage with marijuana and a handgun in the back seat.

Redora Sentoria Stiles, 28, of the 3300 block of Belt Avenue, was charged Tuesday with two misdemeanor counts of child endangerment.

STL police were called to the Barnes-Jewish Hospital parking lot in the 200 block of South Euclid Avenue where he found two young girls alone in the back seat of a car. Security told the cops that the children were left alone for about 40 minutes.

Stiles returned to the car and admitted the children in the vehicle were hers. Police searched the car and found some weed in the car’s center console and a loaded handgun stuffed into a seat pocket.
