Police told us that they have taken a 27-year-old man into custody in connection with a triple shooting that happened in Spanish Lake and have identified the three the people who died.
Demetrius Davis, 27, of St. Louis County, is charged with three counts of first-degree murder and armed criminal action. He is accused of fatally shooting Timothy Solano, 20, of North County, Brandon Stephenson, 36, of Florissant and Melissa Tierney, 40, of South City.
A 49-year-old woman who was also a victim is still in the hospital.
Lucy Yeargain said she was sleeping when her next door neighbor came knocking on her door in the middle of the night, bleeding and pleading for help.
She was pounding on my door for me to help her,” said Lucy Yeargain.“She was shot,” said Yeargain. “I helped her, let her in my house and took care of her by calling 911. That’s what I did.”
Yeargain said that her neighbor Yolanda Solano, was shot in the head. When police officers arrived, three bodies were found inside, two men and a woman were dead.
