On Friday, October 6, the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office issued charges on a 58-year-old suspect, Thomas Guy. Guy is charged with one count of Promoting Child Pornography and three counts of Possession of Child Pornography.
STL County detectives were notified by Yahoo that an internet protocol address located in St. Louis County had distributed child pornography via the internet.
A search warrant was issued at Guy’s home, where detectives discovered three separate computers with thousands of images of child pornography.
According to police, Guy admitted to possessing and disturbing child pornography.
The FBI Crimes Against Children’s Task Force is assisting the St. Louis County Police Department with this investigation.
