Another day another STL shithead pops up. This one opened fire on a car in his Berkeley neighborhood last week, killing one person inside and also hitting and killing a nearby worker with a stray bullet, police told us.
Lonnell Lewis-Jones, 25, was charged Thursday with two counts of second-degree murder in the shooting. He also faces two counts of assault and four counts of armed criminal action. He was ordered held with bail set at $100,000 cash.
Lewis-Jones killed William Dortch, 27, who was one of three people in a car Lewis-Jones fired at. Also hit was an innocent bystander, Frank Langston, who was delivering a load of concrete for a Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District project about half a block away.
Dortch died at a hospital that day.
Police said eyewitnesses identified Lewis-Jones as the shooter.
